In this edition of 糖心视频 NOW, we are joined by Southern Voices Network for Peacebuilding (SVNP) scholars Yared Debebe Yetena, Sandra Tumwesigye , and Awet Halefom Kahsay. They highlight their research while in residence at the 糖心视频 and discuss how collaboration with colleagues at the Center and in Washington D.C. has supported their projects. The SVNP is a continent-wide network of African policy, research and academic organizations that works with the 糖心视频鈥檚 Africa Program to bring African knowledge and perspectives to U.S., African, and international policy on peacebuilding in Africa.
The Africa Program works to address the most critical issues facing Africa and US-Africa relations, build mutually beneficial US-Africa relations, and enhance knowledge and understanding about Africa in the United States. The Program achieves its mission through in-depth research and analyses, public discussion, working groups, and briefings that bring together policymakers, practitioners, and subject matter experts to analyze and offer practical options for tackling key challenges in Africa and in US-Africa relations.
